Jayne is the founder and director of Care Campaign for the Vulnerable (CCFTV) - a national, non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting safety and transparency in UK care homes. CCFTV’s primary focus is advocating for the use of consent based , choice -led, safety monitoring in care homes, with an emphasis on care for people living with dementia. Jayne is invited to engage with providers, staff, and families, delivering insightful talks on the benefits that care monitoring technology brings to the care sector. Her area of expertise is addressing the needs of the vulnerable and she extends support to families and carers navigating the challenges of the sector. Through collaboration with the sector CCFTV has emerged as a leading care influencer, driving initiatives for increased transparency in the care of vulnerable people. Jayne, recognised as a commentator on social care issues related to dementia care, has played a pivotal role in raising awareness on matters such as evictions in care and the need for greater transparency. Drawing from firsthand experiences with a loved one , Jayne spent years meticulously gathering and submitting evidential documentation advocating for the implementation of safety monitoring care homes. Her dedication stems from witnessing the challenges faced by her family and families she supports as well as overworked and unsupported carers. The evidence underscores the potential for safety monitoring to yield cost savings for both the NHS and care homes, reduce safeguarding incidents, diminish agency spending, aid in staff disciplinaries, ensure retrospective quality monitoring, reflective training , and enhance inspection report outcomes. Jayne has garnered support from’MP’s, earning accolades for its persuasive advocacy in Westminster. CCFTV is in national media, commentary in news,and radio outlets, as well as speaking engagements at UK care, events, and colleges . Her involvement extends to supporting families , collaborating with the sector , and participating in legal proceedings such as Court of Protection, Coroner courts, best interest and review meetings, DST /NHS meetings. CCFTV leads the dialogue in the sector, advocating for a safer, transparent environment. CCFTV advises NHS and providers.
