I am a Senior Partner at Acuity Law, a dynamic and innovative legal services provider. I have 15 years experience in health and social care regulatory law, having qualified and practiced at a market-leading boutique firm. My mission is to help care providers navigate the complex and ever-changing regulatory landscape, and to protect their reputation and interests. I am passionate about delivering high-quality and pragmatic legal advice, tailored to the needs and goals of each client. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the Acuity Law team, as I have worked with a wide range of care providers, from small family-run businesses to large national organisations, across various sectors and settings. In my current role, I handle any matters concerning the regulation of health and social care services. I represent care providers in responses, challenges and appeals to inspection reports and regulatory enforcement actions. I am highly experienced in advising care providers in relation to safeguarding allegations, investigations and serious care reviews, as well as inquests, prosecutions, and commissioning fee disputes. I also support a selection of professionals in connection with professional disciplinary matters. In addition, I advise vendors and purchasers of care services regarding regulatory due diligence and compliance. I have strong skills in courts, legal issues, and legal writing, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills. I have successfully secured positive outcomes for my clients in multiple cases, and have received positive feedback and recommendations from them.
