Dr Siva is a Visiting Professor of Medical Leadership and Innovation, CEO of UK Digital Health and Care, and Medical Director of National Healthcare Mentor. She is a nationally recognised healthcare leader working at the intersection of medicine, digital health, education, and policy, with a long-standing commitment to building a confident, compassionate and future-ready NHS workforce. With over a decade of experience in medical leadership, Prof Siva has led and scaled national organisations supporting doctors, dentists and multidisciplinary professionals across the NHS. Through National Healthcare Mentor and Mentorverse, she has built a diverse professional network of over 40,500 NHS contacts and led mentoring, leadership, research and digital upskilling programmes reaching clinicians at every career stage. She also leads the UK’s largest medical and dental scholarship programme, supporting over 250 students across universities nationwide, and has personally taught and mentored tens of thousands of aspiring and early-career clinicians. As CEO of UK Digital Health and Care, Prof Siva works with clinicians, technologists, policymakers and system leaders to strengthen digital capability, ethical innovation and inclusive digital transformation across health and care. She has consulted on digital infrastructure, workforce development and governance from local NHS organisations to national bodies, and is particularly passionate about addressing workforce retention, wellbeing and inequality through education and technology. Prof Siva is known for combining strategic leadership with hands-on innovation. She has a strong technical background, enjoys building and stacking digital platforms, and works closely with media and technology teams to turn complex system problems into practical, people-centred solutions. Her work is driven by a simple belief: that empowering healthcare professionals with the right skills, confidence and support is one of the most powerful ways to improve patient care and secure the future of the NHS.
